I'm new to air fryers and am purchasing one after using a friend's. I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation on what to get.

I got a Cosori Air Fryer, awesome device so far, cuts down on using the oven big time and everything's come out great. For oil, I just use a 100% Avocado oil spray, works great and doesn't change the flavor at all (no smoke). I have the PowerXL air fryer and it is my first one. I'd say start simple and see how often you really use it. Give yourself some time to see if you want more out of it, vs getting one with a ton of bells and whistles and realizing you don't need all of that I've had mind a year, and have already found myself wishing it was big enough to cook a whole chicken. I also use it every day to cook for myself so once I get the counter space in a new apartment (next year or so) I'd probably get one of the multi-tiered one.

I’ve been using the ninja (has a grill aswell) and i use it to cook chicken, we barely use our oven because its so fast, cooks meat perfectly. Has a lil thermometer and tells you when to flip and when its done and internal temp is displayed the whole time

Ninja air fryer is the best! I freaking love mine.

At that price give it a try, I have Cosori. Remember to shake or flip half way through. Spray lightly with oil for nice crisp & enjoy quick delicious meals! My top recommendation is whichever one you get keep the inside of the unit clean a quick wipe after every use goes a long way
