If I remember correctly, in Labo it was 64 characters per text object, with a limit of 8 text objects in a game (although this is very likely to change)

64 characters is extremely limiting, even for regular dialog boxes, let alone a text adventure. Hopefully that number changes. At the very least, I'd be happy with a backdoor in - if there's some trick of the toolset that I can use to circumvent that limit. I suppose only time will tell! Edit: It's kind of funny. I have all these ideas written on my whiteboard, just waiting for GBG to release. I'm thinking about them, planning them, considering the toolset. Everything is looking good, advanced, it's what a creative type wants. And then you see its Achilles heel, the one thing it can't do is the most simple thing.

If you can build a calculator in Super Mario Maker we should be able to do so much more in GBG. Who knows maybe GBG is Turing Complete ... :—)
